“K" Line India Bulk Division is based in Mumbai and operates about 60 bulk carriers under the banner of “K" Line (India) Pvt Ltd. It was established in 2008 to cater to “K" Line offices worldwide.

The core activity of the bulk division is to handle the Post Fixture Vessel Operations.

Currently “K" Line India Bulk Division operates a fleet of Bulk carriers ranging Handy size to Cape size vessels operating worldwide.

Our experienced operators are fully conversant with handling a vast variety of cargoes such as: Coal, Iron Ore, Grain, Pet coke, Sugar, Salt, Steel Products, Sulphur, Ore Concentrates etc…

Amongst our prominent customers are major Indian conglomerates such as JSW Steel & Energy, Libra Shipping Services (Subsidiary of Adani Group) etc.,

Besides the Post Fixture operations, “K” Line India Bulk Division also undertakes Ship Chartering and has a dedicated chartering desk.

In March 2019, as part of our commitment to safety and environment, “K” Line and Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd have developed "K-IMS" Kawasaki - Integrated Maritime Solutions for vessel operation and performance management.

As part of our commitment to safety and environment, “K” Line and Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd have developed "K-IMS" Kawasaki - Integrated Maritime Solutions for vessel operation and performance management.

"K-IMS*1" is managed in cloud system in the shore server. "K-IMS" can be shared among operation teams, ship management companies and vessels. Therefore, it contributes not only to safety of navigation and saving fuel cost but also to improve efficient vessel operation and management dramatically.

The accuracy of the Optimum Navigation System in the "K-IMS" has significantly improved ship safety and economic operations by achievement of appropriate navigation route selection.
